About Amanda:

I’m Amanda Lunsford, a Certified Canine Behavior Consultant (CPDT-KA) with a lifelong passion for helping dogs and their families thrive. I specialize in resolving complex behavioral issues like aggression, anxiety, and fear, using science-backed, humane methods.

My journey into dog behavior consulting began with a deep fascination with the intricate world of canine communication and behavior. I believe in understanding the “why” behind every bark, growl, or tail wag. This allows me to create personalized plans that address the root causes of behavioral challenges, not just the symptoms.

My approach is built on:

  • Positive Reinforcement: I use reward-based methods to motivate and encourage positive behaviors.
  • Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive (LIMA): I prioritize the most gentle and effective techniques to achieve lasting change.
  • Collaboration: I work closely with you to understand your dog’s unique needs and empower you to maintain progress at home.

I’m committed to providing you with the knowledge, tools, and support you need to build a joyful relationship with your dog and enjoy a fulfilling life together.
